Ilias Amri

Hello, I am Ilias Amri a world builder and a solution finder a machine learning research and development engineer currently working on my own startup called wodex.tech, exploiting AI and LLM to put order in messy data in this messy world. I am also creating a Robotics lab called Tricity labs, they aim at developing advanced robotics in a FOSS manner as budget as possible. The main current projects are:

• Offroad autonomous rover with GPS-RTK, to collect data around forests and index it.
  • Reproducible and budget-friendly design
  • Safe navigation in offroad and agricultural terrains
• Autonomous research drone
  • High-detailed mapping
  • 3D reconstruction of forests or industrial elements (power towers)
  • GPS-denied localisation using camera

I previously worked at System plus Consulting in France. My mission was to develop tools that automate tasks, enhancing efficiency and productivity. I have successfully Engineered, designed and deployed multiple ML tools currently in use by over 15 people. I also had the chance to briefly work at Inria, where I worked on autonomous vehicles (UGV).

• Turned a bike into a cargobike (2 versions ! )
• Custom made split ergo mechanical keyboard
• Bellyboard using a CNC
• A fanny pack etc

Current side projects :

Multiple projects are currently in progress.

A Husky-like Hover (similar to Clearpath Robotics models) is sought for conducting autonomous SLAM and data gathering experiments.

Simulator experiments are being conducted to develop a welding robot (similar to Hirebotics models).

There is a need for an easily searchable data warehouse containing Lidar and video data.
